At Rusty Brows, we take pride in our Bernese Mountain Dog breeding program. Our female dogs are carefully selected for their excellent genetics and temperament. We believe that breeding healthy and happy dogs is the key to producing the best litters. Our dogs are raised in a loving home environment with the family and receive the best care possible.

MEET SHELBY...

Shelby is our current female. She was born on May 25, 2022, ready to devote her life to pleasing her "person!" Shelby loves her human family and does anything to please them. Every time she sees them, she greets them like they've been gone for years, even if was just for a few minutes.

Her love for food is almost as equal, which made training a breeze! She is very playful, loving, and cannot get enough attention from anyone willing to give it. She loves to run through your legs, sit, and look up at you as you show her your love in return.

Shelby is Henry's long-lost love. Her attentive, loving nature makes her a great mom to care for her pups.

Shelby has been health tested at the age of two to ensure her genetic strength. Her results are presented below:

Von Willebrand's Disease Type 1: A - Clear/Normal

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM): B - Carrier/Not Affected

Our male Bernese Mountain Dogs are an integral part of our breeding program. Our male has been carefully chosen for his outstanding qualities, including temperament, health, and breed standards. We believe in breeding dogs that are not only beautiful, but also healthy and well-behaved.

MEET HENRY...

The moment we met Henry, it was love at first sight. He was born on January 28, 2022, with a calm disposition and loving nature. He is happiest being constantly at his family's side: in the kitchen, in the car, and even in the bathroom!

Henry has a calm temperament and likes being told he's a good boy and shows a loyal connection to his family. He remains always at our side, even if we go into another room for a split second. He cannot receive enough attention and likes to budge your elbow with his nose when he needs more pets!

Henry immediately took to Shelby, and they've become inseparable, often laying near the other and always playing together. They love to run the mountains together but always come running when their family calls.

Henry is a one-of-a-kind big, fluffy, loving teddy bear!

Henry hails from Championship bloodlines (his father, Calvin Lusi's Stars AKC # V799607), and himself even took home "Best of Breed" in the Hutchinson, KS AKC show. Henry has been health tested at the age of two to ensure his genetic strength. His results are presented below:
